Trail Lines Media, a trade name of Trail Lines Marketing LLC ("Trail Lines," "we," "us") runs traillinesmedia.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What you send us
When you use the contact form on the homepage, we collect your name, email, website, monthly ad spend, and what you want your ads to do. When you request a free review, we also collect your business name, phone number (optional), the ad platforms you use, how you found us, and any notes you add.
Both forms also send the page you were on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you used (such as utm_source or ad click IDs like gclid, msclkid, or fbclid). These are kept in your browser for up to 90 days so we know which ad or link brought you here.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this site: pages viewed, how visitors arrived, and actions such as submitting a form, clicking to book a review, or starting checkout. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
How we use it
- To reply to you and prepare your free review
- To provide and bill for services you sign up for
- To see which pages, ads, and channels bring in inquiries, so we can improve the site and our own advertising
We do not sell your information or share it for others' advertising.
Who helps us
- Formspree receives form submissions and delivers them to our email.
- Google provides our email (Google Workspace), appointment booking (Google Calendar), and site analytics (Google Analytics and Tag Manager).
- Stripe processes payments made through our payment links. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts and secures this website.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond, provide services, and meet tax and record-keeping requirements. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Email us to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
